Nico Smit is an award-winning author with more than 8 published books. He is a well-travelled, accomplished and respected international prophetic apostolic voice within the Christian community. With decades of experience in ministry Nico’s mission is clear: to inspire and empower people to discover their God-given potential and live with unshakable faith. “Powerful Christian books for powerful people” is not just a motto for Nico, but a reflection of his desire to see his readers rise above their circumstances and live empowered by their faith. Nico’s message transcends borders, cultures and denominations, resonating with anyone who is willing to step out in faith and believe in the power of miracles.

Through his books, he shares not just theological insights but deeply personal stories of overcoming adversity. His works are inspired by his lived experiences, both the victories and the trials. For Nico, writing is not an intellectual exercise but a way to communicate the miraculous interventions of God in his life and to inspire others to believe that the same miracles are available to them.

He is lead pastor of RiverCity Church, based in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia and oversees its worldwide ministry network. Other functions include Chairman at Gateway Life Solutions LTD, Director at OCI Foundation LTD, pastor with Glory City Network, and a council member of the Australian Prophetic Council. He is a qualified clinical counsellor. Born in Durban, South Africa, and married to Joe-Ann. They have two married children and five beautiful grandchildren.
