Bless the Lord with ALL that is in you and NEVER forget His benefits!

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. [Psalms 103:1-5]

The question is not CAN you remember the goodness of God, but WILL you remember!

Fear wants you to forget God’s goodness! Religion wants you to earn His benefits! The devil wants you to have amnesia about what God has already done for you and who He is! … but God wants you to remember that He is faithful and has everything you need available to you NOW.

So, David says: C’mon now! Call yourself to order! Shake off your fears and get your mind back on God! Return your shame to sender. Remember who your God is! Remember how He restores you. Marvel! Be amazed! Be in awe! Reject the lies, turn your heart back to God and receive all His benefits.

Sin, guilt, shame, disappointment, scarcity and pain all want you to forget God’s benefits. They want you to keep sliding deeper and deeper into misery. They want you to be their captive and their servant! They want you bound up with no hope of ever being free. They want you to forget God’s goodness and except their false gods. BUT God wants you to know and NEVER forget…

‘I AM GOOD! I HAVE GRACE! I HAVE MERCY! I am your God. I love you! I have grace and SOZO for you. I have rescue, restoration and deliverance for you! Bless Me with ALL that is in you and NEVER forget ALL My benefits!’

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HAS blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious GRACE, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his GRACE, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. [Ephesians 1:3-11]

Never forget that everyone of us in Christ lives in and by God’s grace! We cannot add anything to make it better or subtract anything to make it worse.
